SCHEDULE FOR MEETINGS
At the Administrative Council meeting held on May 13, a motion was made and passed stating that all committees will have their meetings at a time that suits the members of that committee – during the day, or evening, in church or at home. They will keep a record of what was discussed and, at the Administrative Council meeting, report about the committee meeting.

Board of Trustees
Meetings are held the first Monday of each month at 7:00 pm.

United Methodist Women
Meetings are held the first Tuesday of each month at 11:30 am (no meetings in the summer).

Senior Choir

Rehearsals are held each Sunday at 9:00 am before the worship service. When working on special music, they also meet on Thursday evenings at 7:00 pm.

Administrative Council
Note: New Time Schedule
Administrative Council meetings will now meet quarterly instead of monthly. This is one of the recommendations of the Methodist Book of Discipline. The new dates for meetings are the second Wednesday of March, June, September and December at 10:00 am. You will have lots of reminders about the Council meeting and we hope that all members of committees and chairpersons will attend these four meetings each year.

Annual Charge Conference
The United Methodist Church will hold it's Annual Charge Conference in Aldersgate Hall on Wednesday, October 19, 2011. Parsonage inspection is at 5:30 pm, Pastor/Parish meeting is at 6:30 pm and the Church Conference will be at 7:30 pm. Reports will be given for 2011 and plans for 2012. All members of the United Methodist Church of Linden are urged to attend and take part in voting for the officers and planning events for next year. We look forward to seeing you - your attendance is important to us!

Church Fair
Held on the Saturday before Thanksgiving in November in Aldersgate Hall.

Fall Rummage Sale
Held in Epworth Hall (downstairs) for two days in October, Friday from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm and Saturday, from 9:00 am to Noon..

Spring Rummage Sale
Held in Epworth Hall (downstairs) for two days in April, Friday from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm and Saturday, from 9:00 am to Noon.

Weight Watchers
Weight Watchers meets in Aldersgate Hall every Tuesday from 4:30 to 6:30 pm. If you have a need for their services, you are welcome to attend.

Candy Mountain Day Care
Meets Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm all year long, following the Linden school schedule so when schools are closed, they are too. For more information, please e-mail arosencandymountain@yahoo.com or call 908-862-6252.

Polish-American Fencing School
Meets Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 4:30 pm to 9:30 pm and on Saturday from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm. They meet every month in the Church gym, except July and August. For more information, please e-mail mlynekfencing@aol.com or call 732-381-5898.
